8:21:30 am - actual start
8:21:35 am - hr is 185 and tasting vanilla gu and sport beans
8:29:21 am - pass 5km mark & mental math reveals 16s off 40k/hour pace
8:29:30 am - fairly certain any faster and i might die
8:31:45 am - pass a giant pink easter bunny
8:37:25 am - jmiller, who started 3 minutes back, blows my doors off
8:37:30 am - 1 minute off 40k/hour @ 10k
8:39:00 am - see my 30 second man, and pick up the pace
8:40:00 am - catch 30 second man - actually an amish girl going to church
8:53:15 am - 2:15 off 40k/hour pace at 20k turn around
8:53:45 am - stomach rumbles and see spots
8:54:05 am - drop carboom! and am in the cinders during a botched feed attempt
8:54:15 am - in small ring despite going down hill
8:55:30 am - notice the nasty headwind
8:55-9:20 am - no recollection of anything
9:20:15 am - giant pink bunny makes me giggle
9:25:45 am - realize that aero helmets are claustrophobic
9:29:33 am - finish - 40km in 68:03, 21.93 mph average
