:: 'i tried to relax, but it felt like a waste of time.' in disbelief, i uttered those words to pop on the phone last night. a waste of time to relax, what has my life come to? yesterday was a milestone submitting my first peer reviewed paper (yawn), and i probably should be amped about taking a few days off, going for a leisurely ride, etc.. but i can't. comps are coming, i have ideas for another paper, i have to learn to code in LaTeX, the house needs to be cleaned, i have to clean the fish tank... i did take a break and go to the movies with dieter, and thankfully it was super scary. at one point i was thinking about references for aforementioned paper and realized i missed one. thankfully, super scary zombie guy jumps out and i was able for a moment to forget. but it was hardly relaxing. workaholic grad student is redundant. ::
